| TASIS Dorado, as a private organization, has a Governing Board of Directors with members appointed by TASIS Dorado, the administrators of the school, and by the Sabanera Dorado developers, who have incorporated a non profit corporation, Sabanera Dorado Educational Foundation, Inc., which is the owner of the land and buildings and the sponsor of the school. This governing board has the ultimate responsibility for the school.
The Board of Directors will approve the operational budget of the school, determine policy and appoint a Director, who is responsible for the administration of the budget and the management of the School. The educational leadership is provided by a Principal, who is responsible for the day to day operation of the school, maintaining the highest academic standards, and securing the welfare and safety of all its students.
The TASIS Foundation provides guidelines for the incorporation of the pertinent educational policies, procedures, materials, resources and services in order to successfully implement the educational program. An administrative team has been contracted to aid in the responsibility of operating the school as per the guidelines of
the TASIS Foundation. These responsibilities include the hiring of faculty and staff, implementing an American College Preparatory curriculum in harmony with the Puerto Rico educational needs, developing a sports/extra curricular activities program, and promoting other educational programs depending on interest and demand.
