Hours

• Morning Care hours 7:20-7:50 AM
• Regular Extended Care hours 3:30-5:30 PM
• Spanish Extended hours 3:30 - 4:30 PM or 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Morning and Extended Care

Registration NOT required

Morning and Extended Care program provides daily extended play before and after school. We offer this program as a convenience for working parents, but it also provides the opportunity for any student to benefit from and enjoy unstructured play with peers before and after school. This service is exclusively childcare services and does not include any extracurricular activities. 

Regular Extended Cost

• • $20.00 per hour
  • Regular Extended is paid at the end of the month via invoice from the Finance Office
  • Advance registration is NOT required.
  • Non-refundable

Spanish Extended Registration

Registration required!

Spanish Extended is a structured program for Grades K-5 with activities to reinforce Spanish-speaking fluency and understanding. This program is available Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 - 5:00 PM, and students may enroll up to four days a week for one hour. Parents/guardians determine the day and time that best fits your schedule. Enrollment and payment are required every five weeks (three times per semester).

Students are picked up by Spanish Extended teachers at dismissal, taken to the Dining Hall for a snack, and then proceeded to the assigned classroom for one hour of instruction.

Late Pick-Up & Other Fees

• A penalty fee of $20.00 will be applied for each half-hour or fraction of a half-hour for any child not picked up by 5:30 PM. 
• Students who are not enrolled in the program but might occasionally need to be picked up late or arrive early will be charged at a rate of $20.00 an hour or a fraction of an hour.

Registration will take place over several days to help ease the overall process for families.

• Registration for Spring 2024 opens the week of December 11, 2023, as follows:
  • Tuesday, Dec 12 at NOON - Music Grades K to 12
  • Wednesday, Dec 13 at NOON - ASP Classes Grades PPK - 1
  • Thursday, Dec 14 at NOON - ASP Classes Grades 2 - 5
  • Friday, Dec 15 at NOON - ASP Classes Grades 6 - 12 and Spanish Extended for all eligible grades.

Music Classes

Grades 6-12

Dates, times, and names of teachers will be available in Veracross when registration opens on Tuesday, Dec 12 at 12:00 PM.

• Classes are Monday through Friday, starting Monday, January 22, 2024, from 3:30 - 5:30 PM
• Offered by professional musicians in 30-minute blocks
• A variety of instruments are offered to students in grades Kinder through 12
• Students are required to provide their own instruments (except piano) and materials. 
• Cost: $40 per 30-minute class
  • Mondays, 13 lessons
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, 15 lessons
  • Fridays, 9 lessons

New & Returning Music Students: To review available days, times, and classes, click the “Register for Music Classes” button below. A list of AVAILABLE classes (day, time, and cost) will be listed alphabetically by the teacher’s first name. Select an AVAILABLE slot and make a payment to secure your child’s spot. 

Returning Music Students: Please do your best to select the same music teacher from previous years.

Withdraw and Refund Policy 

• Cancellations BEFORE classes begin require a written notice to tdafterschoolprograms@tasisdorado.com; cancellations BEFORE class begin will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
• Cancellations AFTER classes begin DO NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. 
• Refunds are not given for illness, school closures due to unforeseen natural disasters, school-related field trips, or missed classes. 
• Prorating is not offered for late enrollment.
• Minimum of 5 students must be enrolled for any class to be offered.
