Financial & Contracting Practices

Contracting & Overhead Policy

TASIS is committed to a responsible and efficient use of its resources and to maintaining transparent, mission-driven contracting practices. As a matter of current internal practice, for partnership arrangements in which administrative, indirect cost, or overhead fees are separately charged to TASIS by a counterparty, TASIS applies a self-imposed cap of 10% on such overhead fees, calculated against eligible direct costs or the applicable contract base.

Disclaimer: This practice is intended to guide TASIS' standard contracting approach and does not create third-party rights, amend any existing agreement, or limit TASIS' ability to structure future arrangements in a manner appropriate to the facts and circumstances of a particular transaction. TASIS may enter into arrangements with different economic structures, including where overhead or similar costs are incorporated into fixed fees, program budgets, grant budgets, pass-through funding, subawards, reimbursable cost arrangements, or other negotiated terms, or where a different approach is required or appropriate under applicable law, funder requirements, donor restrictions, regulatory obligations, or mission-related needs.

TASIS Dorado is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit institution under the U.S. and Puerto Rico tax codes.
