TASIS Dorado Foreign Language Department invites the TASIS Dorado Community to the French Italian Night on Thursday, 7th April 2016 at our new Performing Art Center. The event offers the opportunity of discovering French and Italian music, poems and three fragments of French literature through different performing.

The night event will be marked by an extract of Phantom of the Opera, two songs from Notre Dame de Paris musical, Beauty and the Beast, and the Cyrano de Bergerac Nose monologue (Tirade du nez) presented by our Foreign Language department students.

I am pleased to inform you that our two special guests are Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico, who kindly accepted the invitation and will present a fragment of El fantasma de la Opera, a ballet production at Fine Arts from April 8 to 10, and the actress Rossy Masses who will perform in French Madame Marguerite an adapted version of Roberto Athayde's play directed by Myrna Casas ("Savage, mad, funny and ultimately moving... Miss Margarida is a grotesque, deranged and somehow perfectly normal school teacher..." - The New York Times).

The evening is also a Fundraise event for the Fundación Síndrome Down de Puerto Rico and we kindly ask for a donation of $5.00 dollars. The reception will commence at 5:30pm at the Assembly courtyard where you can buy beverages, salted and sweet crepes from Crepe Maker and also acquire cheese from Vaca Negra, followed then by the spectacle at 6:30pm, with then an entr'acte.
