TASIS Dorado Wins National Soccer Championship
We are thrilled to announce that our TASIS Dorado Varsity Girls Soccer Team has emerged as the 2024 CHAMPIONS on the island after a breathtaking 2-0 victory against the formidable Maria Reina in the televised championship of the Buzzer Beater National Soccer Championship on May 6, 2024, at the Bayamón Soccer Complex 2!
Despite the pouring rain, our BEARS dominated the field with two incredible goals from none other than Daniela Burgos! And let's hear it for our MVP, Captain Valeria Luzio, whose leadership shone brightly throughout the game!
A massive shoutout to our exceptional coaching staff. Coach Giovanni Cusimano's strategic guidance and Assistant Coach Silvia Burt's invaluable support were instrumental in this victory. Every player on our team poured their heart and soul into this victory, and we couldn't be prouder of each one of them!
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all the soccer families and BEARS fans who braved the heavy rain with ponchos and umbrellas to cheer on our team. Your unwavering support, rain or shine, is what makes our community so special and our victories so sweet!
