Affiliation

The TASIS School in Dorado is affiliated with the American School in Switzerland (TASIS) and is sponsored by the Federico and Priscilla Stubbe Foundation, a not-for-profit Puerto Rican Corporation. The school is located in Dorado, Puerto Rico and is a private, non-sectarian, coeducational day school with English as its language of instruction, except for Puerto Rican History, Spanish and other foreign language courses. The school was founded in January of 2002, opening for its first academic year in August of 2002.

Accreditation

The TASIS School in Dorado is a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit, independent school and certified by the local governmental agency, the “Consejo de Educación de Puerto Rico.” It is also accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA-CESS) and by the “Comisión Acreditadora de Instituciones Educativas” (CADIE). 

TASIS Dorado is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Caribbean Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools awarded TASIS Dorado a Program of Distinction Award for its Early Childhood Education Program (PPK to 1st Grade) in 2016.
