Uniforms

• Skirts, skorts, and shorts must be knee-length at all times.
• Socks must be white, navy, or black and worn in ankle, crew, or knee-length styles.
• Shoes or sneakers must be black, white, brown, or navy. Small red accent colors are permitted. Footwear with lights, wheels, or any distracting features is not allowed in school.
• Sweaters and Outerwear
  • Only TASIS Dorado–approved outerwear with the embroidered crest may be worn over the uniform on school days. Acceptable items include:
    • Lands’ End navy sweaters and navy active zip jackets with the embroidered TASIS Dorado crest.
    • TASIS-branded letterman jackets from the Bear Cave with the embroidered TASIS Dorado crest.
  • Non-TASIS outerwear is not permitted during the school day.
• Spirit Gear
  • Spirit gear may only be worn during official tournaments, designated Spirit days, or after-school events.
  • Spirit Fridays have been discontinued.
• Students Participating in School Athletic Teams
  • Students are required to bring their athletic uniforms in a separate bag and change into them prior to their scheduled games.

Uniform Transition Notice for Elementary Division 2025-2026

Transition period for current blue mesh dresses and blue PE active dry t-shirts to the red color. Please be advised that the blue t-shirts and dresses will be permitted for this school year only, as part of the transition.

Uniform Dress Code • Academic Year 2026-2027

Red becomes the official color of the Elementary Division uniform. Required items include red polo shirts, red PE active dry t-shirts, red dresses (in addition to approved blue skirts and skorts), blue chino pants, and blue PE track pants or athletic shorts.

We appreciate your continued support and cooperation as we implement these changes. To help minimize unnecessary expenses, we encourage families to consider these changes for the 2026-2027 academic year when purchasing uniforms for the upcoming school year.

1. Uniform Requirements
   • The regular TASIS Dorado uniform must be worn on A through E days.
   • Students with PE class must change into their PE uniform only for the duration of the class and must change back into the regular uniform immediately afterward.
     • Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, we will transition from red to blue PE shirts. Please be advised that the red shirt will be permitted for this school year only, as part of the transition. Blue PE shirts will be required beginning the 2026-2027 school year.

2. Formal Uniform – F Days (Grades 6–12)
   • Students in Grades 6-12 are required to wear the TASIS Dorado Formal Uniform on F Days, referred to as Formal Days.
   • Formal Days require the use of Oxford shirts as part of the uniform. 
   • Oxford shirts will be required daily starting in the 2026-2027 academic year.
   • Further details on Formal Day expectations can be found in the Secondary Division guidelines.
3. Sweaters and Outerwear on A–F Days

4. College Sweatshirt Privilege – Seniors Only
   • College sweatshirts are a special privilege reserved for seniors during the month of April, beginning in the 2025-2026 year.
   • All other students must follow the outerwear guidelines listed above and wear only approved TASIS Dorado items.
5. Spirit Gear
   • Spirit gear may only be worn during official tournaments, designated Spirit days, or after-school events.
   • Spirit Fridays have been discontinued.
6. Club and Honor Society Polos
   • Club and Honor Society polos are not part of the regular uniform.
   • These may only be worn during after-school events related to the specific club or society.
7. Students Participating in School Athletic Teams
   • Students are required to bring their athletic uniforms in a separate bag and change into them prior to their scheduled games.

Please note that the 2025-2026 academic year will serve as a transition year for the polo shirts currently worn in the Secondary Division and the red PE shirt. Beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year, students will be required to wear oxford shirts only as part of the official uniform and navy blue PE shirt.

We encourage families to keep this transition in mind when purchasing uniforms for the upcoming year to avoid unnecessary expenses.
