Welcome to our TASIS Dorado After-School Program (ASP), which offers a wide variety of experiences to accommodate many interests and skills of all ages. Classes are led by certified professionals in their area of expertise. Outlined below, you will find our program offerings by grade level, plus details on our Extended Care and Spanish Reinforcement Program.

We’re excited to share a variety of engaging and age-appropriate After School Program offerings designed especially for our youngest students in grades PPK through 1st. These activities give children the opportunity to explore new interests, develop creativity, build motor skills, and discover hidden talents in a fun and safe environment.

Individual Music Classes | Grade K-12
Dates, times, and names of teachers will be available in Veracross.
Classes are Monday through Friday, from 3:30 - 5:30 PM
- Offered by professional musicians in 30-minute blocks
- A variety of instruments are offered to students in grades Kinder through 12
- Students are required to provide their own instruments (except piano) and materials.
- Cost: $42 per 30-minute class
- Mondays, 13 lessons
- Tuesdays / Wednesdays / Thursdays, 15 lessons
- Fridays, 11 lessons
New & Returning Music Students: To review available days, times, and classes, click the “Register for Music Classes” button below. Elementary Music Theory (Wednesday 3:30-4:30 pm) Teacher: Mr. Joel Bracero / Grade: 3rd-5th
Music Theory has never been this fun! Designed for Grades 3-5, this class is the perfect complement to private lessons. With games, creative activities, and plenty of laughter, students will build confidence while mastering the language of music.
Batucada (Wednesday 3:30-4:30 pm) Teacher: Mr. Jonathan Martínez / Grade: 4th-6th
The Batucada Ensemble is a high-energy, hands-on after-school program introducing students to the rhythms of Brazilian percussion. Students will play authentic instruments, learn traditional samba-based grooves, and develop ensemble skills in a supportive and fun group environment. No prior musical experience is required.
Recording Class at School (Tuesday 3:30-4:30 pm) Teacher: Mr. Fabián Rivera / Grade: 6th-8th
In this super fun class, students will discover the basics of recording in a modern studio environment. They will learn how to use recording software, experiment with microphones, and create their own music demos. By the end of the course, students will have hands-on experience that combines creativity, technology, and music in an exciting way.
Elementary Band Class (Thursday 3:30-4:30 pm) Teacher: Mr. Fabián Rivera / Grade: 3rd-5th
This is a fun and energetic class where students will join a band and play instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, Latin percussion, or ukulele, depending on their skills. They will rehearse popular songs together, learning teamwork and stage presence while making music as a group. The semester will end with a live performance for the whole school, celebrating their effort, growth, and talent.
Rising Voices Choir (Thursday: 3:30-4:30 pm) Teacher: Mrs. Karla Santana Grade: 3rd–5th Grade)
Ready to level up your voice? This after-school choir helps young singers sharpen their vocal skills, learn to read music, and sing in harmony, all while building confidence and having a blast performing together!

Sing, play, and grow! In this fun after-school choir, kids build vocal skills, learn music basics, and discover the joy of singing together. Perfect for young singers ready to shine and prepare for future music adventures!
Adult Workshops (18+)
Adults 18 and older, including parents, grandparents, friends of TASIS Dorado, and members of the Dorado and Metro area community, are invited to join our adult workshops, many of which will be held in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Morning and Extended Day Care
Registration NOT required
Morning and Extended Day Care program provides daily extended play before and after school. We offer this program as a convenience for working parents, but it also provides the opportunity for any student to benefit from and enjoy unstructured play with peers before and after school. This service is exclusively childcare services and does not include any extracurricular activities.
Starting Monday, August 11th, we will offer Early Morning Care from 7:20 to 7:50 and Extended Day Care from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Please note that this service is available at an additional cost of twenty dollars for a fraction of an hour (afternoon care). More information will be provided at a later date. If you are interested in these services, please email your child’s teachers or contact Ms. Viviana Daubon at daubon.v@tasisdorado.com
Regular Extended Cost
- $20.00 for a fraction of an hour
- Regular Extended is paid at the end of the month via invoice from the Finance Office

Spanish Reinforcement Program
Registration required!
The Spanish Reinforcement Program is a structured program for Grades K-5 with activities to reinforce Spanish-speaking fluency and understanding. This program is available Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 - 4:30 PM, and students may enroll up to four days a week for one hour. Parents/guardians may choose the day and time that best fits their schedule. Enrollment and payment must be completed before the class begins.
Students are picked up by the Spanish Reinforcement Program teachers at dismissal, taken to the Dining Hall where they can either purchase snacks from the HUB or eat their own, and then brought to the assigned classroom for one hour of instruction.

- Spanish Reinforcement Program is paid in advance per semester via the Veracross Registration Form; advance registration IS required.

Late Pick-Up & Other Fees
Late Pick-Up & Other Fees
- A penalty fee of $20.00 will be applied for each half-hour or fraction of a half-hour for any child not picked up by 5:30 PM.
- Students who are not enrolled in the program but might occasionally need to be picked up late or arrive early will be charged at a rate of $20.00 an hour or a fraction of an hour.
Withdraw and Refund Policy for All After-School Programs
Withdraw and Refund Policy
- All payments are final: non-refundable, non-creditable, and non-transferable after classes begin.
- Cancelations BEFORE classes begin require a written notice to tdafterschoolprograms@tasisdorado.com.
- Cancelations BEFORE class begin will incur a 10% cancellation fee.
- Refunds, transfers, nor credits are not offered for illness, school closures due to unforeseen natural disasters, school-related field trips, or missed classes.
- Prorating is not offered for late enrollment.
- Minimum of 5 students must be enrolled for any class to be offered.
- If a class is canceled due to a teacher's illness, emergency, or changes in our school calendar, the class will be offered on a different date, which could be a different day of the week than typically offered.
