I hope my students believe in themselves, their capabilities and the importance of never giving up! I hope they understand that mistakes are learning opportunities that make them stronger! And I hope they embrace and respect diversity and individuality. As a teacher, I find much satisfaction presenting concepts and skills in a variety of creative, fun, and meaningful ways. Young students are willing participants in the learning process enjoying every song, every game, every theme...they are simply pure and unique little beings!

Parents
Parents
TASIS Dorado parents, grandparents, and guardians play a vital role in our educational experience and are encouraged to actively participate in their child’s journey. Our school values the relationships between parents and teachers and considers it a partnership meant to enhance student learning and development.
Parents and other family members are welcomed on campus for a variety of activities throughout the year in the classroom, at the Performing Arts Center, and in the Bear Den. Special events, such as Communities of the World, VAPA Showcases, Field Day, Spirit Week and Pep Rallies are just some of the opportunities that offer parents a glimpse of a day in the life of a TD student. TASIS Dorado parents feel strongly connected to their child’s learning path and confident in their overall experience.
All parents are automatically members of the TASIS Parent Association (TPA), which coordinates several key programs and events throughout the year. The TPA Board works closely with our Leadership Team to aid in a seamless connection between parents and the school.

Leadership
Leadership
Led by Head of School Sylvia Rodríguez Vargas, PhD, TASIS Dorado’s leadership is a team of forever learners committed to ensuring students always come first. The team’s ultimate goal is to develop creative, informed, and well-balanced students who embrace service and leadership, pursue their passions, engage in rigorous scholarship, and transform their energies and talents into making a positive difference in the world. The team’s collaborative and student-centered approach to education is key in creating a successful learning environment and they welcome open dialogue from students, faculty, alumni, and parents. They recognize and embrace the presence of cognitive differences in school, as in life. That is to say, students learn and think differently. The work of the school is to meet our learners where they are. This is the real world of differences that we live in and in which our students will work when they graduate from college.
TASIS Dorado’s Leadership Team is guided by the policies and strategic plan approved by the Board of Directors, led by President of the Board, Federico Stubbe, Jr. The Board is a talented group of dedicated individuals who generously volunteer their time and work together as a team to govern the school, ensuring its current and future success. The Board holds the school's long-term strategic vision "in trust," providing resources, setting policy, and assuring financial strength in order to promote the mission of the school. One of the most critical functions of the Board of Directors is to appoint the Head of School.
