Professional Development
The generosity of our community is essential to sustaining our mission of academic and personal excellence, securing a bright future for TASIS Dorado and transforming lives.
Supporting professional development at TASIS Dorado can be done in two meaningful ways: by contributing to our general Professional Development Fund or by supporting the Tim Howard "Excellence in Teaching" Award.
We prioritize professional development to empower our educators with advanced skills, global learning opportunities, and access to expert collaboration. These initiatives ensure our teachers remain at the forefront of educational innovation, directly enriching the learning experience for our students.
Your continued support fuels academic excellence, enhances the student experience, and strengthens TASIS Dorado’s role as a leader in education. By investing in our mission, you help provide the innovative programs and resources that inspire both students and educators, sustaining our legacy of excellence for generations to come.
Excellence in Teaching Fund
The Tim Howard "Excellence in Teaching" Award, established in honor of our second Head of School, recognizes outstanding educators or teams at TASIS Dorado. This endowed fund supports teachers who demonstrate instructional expertise, creativity, and innovation, making learning engaging and impactful.
Award recipients may receive a cash gift, funding for a passion project, professional development, travel stipends, or continuing education. The award aims to elevate the teaching profession, attract and inspire exceptional educators, and enhance the reputation of TASIS Dorado teachers.
A gift to the Tim Howard Excellence in Teaching Fund directly supports the growth and success of our educators.
As a result of record support in FY24, 100% of faculty and staff benefited from professional development, enriching classroom engagement and school dynamics. Your continued support enhances the student experience, drives academic excellence, and solidifies TASIS Dorado's position as an educational leader.
