The Reaching for the Stars Gala & Auction on April 4 was a dazzling evening of celebration, community, and impact! Nearly 500 parents, alumni, teachers, staff, administrators, and friends stepped out in formal attire and stylish sneakers to support STEAM Excellence at TASIS Dorado.
The program featured inspiring campaign highlights from Federico Stubbe, Jr., Dr. Sylvia Rodríguez Vargas, Betzy García, and Linda Vester Greenberg. Guests danced the night away to the vibrant sounds of A Son de Guerra and Cuenta Regresiva, placed their bids in exciting Silent & Live Auctions, savored gourmet cuisine by Chef Edgardo Noel, and took in the magical ambiance brought to life by Gisela Vázquez of Social Designs.
The night also premiered our Reaching for the Stars: The Campaign for STEAM Excellence video, featuring TASIS Dorado students and faculty sharing their passions, dreams, and the incredible opportunities that new STEAM facilities will unlock.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, the Gala raised over $1.2 million in sponsorships, donations, and pledges, bringing us closer to transforming the TASIS Dorado learning experience for generations to come. Even more, the event served as a heartwarming moment of unity, connecting our Board of Directors, current and former parents, alumni, administrators, teachers, and staff.
Reaching for the Stars: Black Tie & Sneakers Gala and Auction, held on April 4, 2025 at TASIS Dorado's Wellness & Athletics Center, generated support and enthusiasm for the Capital Campaign for STEAM Excellence set to enhance our campus with new buildings and programs, including the Center for STEM Excellence and the Music & Visual Arts Center.
