Athletics
TASIS Dorado’s Athletic Department stresses individual character development, emphasizing respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship. Our educators and coaches work tirelessly to offer a high-quality athletic experience where student-athletes are respected for their individuality, valued for their unique talents, and challenged to improve their abilities. Our student-athletes are taught to strive for excellence, on and off the field, both as individuals and as teammates.
TASIS Dorado is a highly competitive and comprehensive athletic program with over 65% of the student body actively participating across a remarkable 54 athletic teams. Grounded in "mens sana in corpore sano" (a healthy mind in a healthy body), the TASIS Dorado sports program believes that participating in athletics provides student with opportunities for character development, fitness, sportsmanship, and enjoyment.
Athletic opportunities include basketball, beach volleyball, cross-country, flag football, golf, judo, soccer, tennis, swimming, track & field, and volleyball. The new Wellness & Athletics Center, set to open in Fall 2023, will bring additional athletic opportunities, including cheerleading, dance, and more.
