MARIANA GONZÁLEZ '20 wins National Honor Society Scholarship

We're proud to announce that, MARIANA GONZÁLEZ, a member of the senior class of 2020, has been selected as an NHS Scholarship recipient. Mariana was chosen from nearly 7,000 applicants and as a National Semifinalist, she will receive a scholarship in the amount of $3,200 toward higher education. Recipients are chosen based on their demonstrated work to support the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Mariana is the current NHS president and an AP Scholar with Distinction. As an NJHS member, she was the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award. Also, she has won several awards in the National French Contest (Levels 1 -5) including three gold medals. Besides her impressive academic and personal accomplishments, she is committed to service in her community, especially with sign language for the deaf community.
