Five TASIS Dorado Seniors Named 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program Candidates
It's a good day to be a Bear! TASIS Dorado is proud to announce that four members of the Class of 2021 have been selected as candidates for the prestigious U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Congratulations to George Bader, Carlos Junco Marrero, Katherine Parnell, Enrique Rivera Ferraiuoli, and Carlos Trápaga Hacker.
Each year, about 5,000 graduating seniors nationwide are chosen based on their SAT and ACT scores. As many as 161 graduating seniors are then named Presidential Scholars. Students must be invited to apply for the program.
All scholars are honored for their accomplishments during the National Recognition Program, held in June in Washington, D.C. For over 55 years, this unique federal program has honored over 7,500 U.S. Presidential Scholars, who have demonstrated leadership, scholarship, and contribution to school and their communities.
Congratulations, Scholars, on this special recognition!
