Frequently Asked Questions

How does COVID-19 affect Admissions at TD?

The application process can be completed almost entirely online. Physical visits are suspended for now. In the meantime, please visit our campus gallery to get a feel for some of the TD facilities such as our Performing Arts Center, STEAM Fab Lab, playgrounds, courts, and library.

Can I still send an application for my child while schools are closed?

Yes! The school may be physically closed, but the Admissions Office is open virtually. First-time applicants must complete the Pre-Application Inquiry Form to create an account within Veracross, our database. Once you have an account, you may continue with the application process through your account on the Admissions Portal.

Is there availability in all grades?

Currently, we have limited availability in all grades.

I’m on the waitlist. When will I hear if I’ve been offered a place at TD?

We encourage all our applicants to complete the admission process by submitting all the required documents. This way, once a space becomes available, we can contact you for the admission assessment and interview.

What are Virtual Admission Assessments?

As a part of the admission process for TASIS Dorado, we require each applicant to visit our campus and complete an assessment. However, as we continue facing the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and keeping the health of our community foremost in mind, the TASIS Dorado campus will continue to be closed, operating through distance learning and virtual communication for the time being.

We will also be conducting the admission assessments and interviews virtually for applicants applying for PPK to 12th grade
