Teacher Academy

TASIS Dorado welcomes several new faculty and staff members each year. A comprehensive two-day New Teacher Academy introduces and integrates these new community members into our school's culture, structure, and relationships. The New Teacher Academy is an ongoing program that encourages professional growth and prepares teachers for a strong, confident start to the new school year committed to student learning and well-being. During these two days, teachers connect our school mission and values to their new role, learn about the many resources available to them as teachers, and receive ongoing support from a mentor teacher during their first year. After two engaging days, new teachers leave feeling welcomed, supported, energized, and ready to begin the school year.
