The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools recognized TASIS Dorado with the “Program of Distinction" Award in Early Childhood Education (Grades PPK to 1). TASIS Dorado was THE FIRST SCHOOL IN PUERTO RICO and the second one worldwide, to achieve this prestigious accomplishment.
TASIS Dorado’s Advanced Placement offerings allow high school students to study college-level material and take achievement exams that enrich their depth of understanding and may also lead to college credits. Our students can select from 30 accelerated (AP) courses in specific areas of interest, allowing students the flexibility to customize their transcript of studies.

New Facilities for 2023-24
Wellness & Athletics Center (WAC)
A state-of-the-art Wellness & Athletics Center will fulfill student-athletes' needs while serving the broader school community. The air-conditioned WAC will sport newly equipped spaces such as an indoor gymnasium featuring basketball, volleyball, and futsal courts, a Toro Verde-sponsored rock climbing wall, a fitness center, a wellness resource lounge, and a culinary classroom for students to exercise, relax, and engage in physical and wellness activities. External improvements include new turf for soccer, track & field facilities, beach volleyball and beach tennis courts, and two playgrounds.
The Wellness program will undergo an expanded curriculum focused on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual balance. The culinary arts classroom will foster nutritional exploration and programming. School counselors' offices will invite students to gather and converse in a safe and comfortable environment. Multipurpose spaces will facilitate active programs such as yoga, pilates, and dance.
Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL)
The Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning, a dynamic, collaborative environment, inspires the TASIS Dorado community to learn together, exchange ideas, and creatively problem-solve. This inspiring space offers eLearning classrooms, virtual teaching pods, a broadcasting studio, a digital media lab, study zones, group spaces, lounge areas, and a revitalized library.
Combining the expertise of faculty and administrators, professional development workshops, and student support services, the CITL will enrich teaching and learning by encouraging interdisciplinary discussions and inspiring forward-thinking educational practices serving as a portal to share TASIS Dorado with the world.
